Lion Boy 2 "is an animated film produced by Beijing Wonderful Time Culture Media Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Yidong Culture Communication Co., Ltd., and Beijing Baina Qiancheng Film and Television Co., Ltd. It was written and directed by Sun Haipeng, written by Shen Cheng, Zhang Ting, and Shi Mai, and starred and voiced by Da Xin, Da Xiong, and Guo Hao. The film was released in China on December 14, 2024 and aired on Tencent Video and Youku on June 1, 2025.
The film tells the story of Ah Juan, an unknown person who works in Shanghai. In order to earn money to treat her father's illness, she agrees to represent the declining Chuan Wu Quan School in the "Shanghai Fighting Night" martial arts competition. To do so, she must overcome all the masters, prejudices, and her own story.
