The Three Squads "is a crime film produced by Chen Sicheng, directed by Dai Mo, written by Zhang Ji, starring Zhang Yi, with Li Chen as the lead actor, Wei Chen, Cao Bingkun, Wang Xiao, and Zhang Zixian as the main actors, and Yang Xinming, Chen Chuang, Huang Lu, Alia, Zhang Xincheng, Gao Ye, and Zhang Benyu as friendly actors.
The film is adapted from a real event and was originally published in "Please inform the director that the task of the third team has been completed" by author Shenlan from "NetEase Human Studio". It tells the story of Cheng Bing (played by Zhang Yi), the captain of the Criminal Investigation Brigade, leading the Third Brigade to handle a malignant case, resulting in the accidental death of one of the suspects and their imprisonment. After being released from prison, he still insisted on tracking the fugitive suspect as an ordinary person.
